Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Composer/Lyricist

Biography

Although my day job is IT.  My spare time is taken up with playing guitar singing in choirs (Tenor) and Amateur Operatics. This I have been doing for the last 20 years, and during that time arranged countless pieces for performance.

My main focus though is writing original songs in the British/American modern folk genres for personal performance.  And although I perform the odd gig I hope to be able to increase my exposure in this aspect in order to publicisze my songs to a wider audience.

I also enjoy arranging contemporary pieces for choirs when I get the opportunity as well as the more traditional pieces.

My main musical influences include: Waits; Cohen; Mitchell; Browne; Dylan; Young and other great artists from the American Folk; Country & Blues genres. I am also a keen follower of new music and artists as they come  onto the scene.
