A Secular Hymn.
Written expressly for "non-faith" ceremonies. A farewell eulogy giving thanks to friends for "being there".
1st Verse & Chorus:
My life, almost done.
And so it's time
To look back
To where it all began.
The times when we were so very young;
And the days seemed endless.
My life,
My life;
Comes full circle.
The end of days,
At the end of time;
Beckoning to the infinite void that will soon be mine.
But before that day turns
Into the dark and endless night.
I want to say to all my friends:
I thank you all
For my life.
